Finely ground Bensdorp cocoa beans - nibs (short for NIBS) have a rich roasted cocoa flavour and a crunchy texture. Grain size 1-4 mm, matt dark brown colour. This ingredient is perfect for adding texture and flavour to desserts or even savoury dishes. Sprinkle them on freshly glazed sweets to enhance the depth of the chocolate flavour and give the products an elegant look. Adding finely ground cocoa beans to caramel makes a delicious chocolate nougat. You can also mix them with chocolate-nut praline for added flavour, aroma and texture.
